A few miles west of Loctudy is Lesconil marina in Southern Brittany. About 10 miles NW of the Isles de Glenan.

Access is straightforward, you just need to observe the forest of cardinal marks in that area; it is an all-tide marina, although only about 1.5m of water on a chart datum low tide.  Once into the harbour, be sure to observe the port and starboard marks and look for a space on the visitor’s pontoon on the left.  The visitor’s pontoon has about 23 spaces, suitable for boats of up to 40 feet or so, with water and electricity.  If that is full, there is also an alongside pontoon, past the main pontoon and around the corner on the left – this is big enough for two or three boats plus rafting.  There are also three sets of fore and aft buoys in the middle of the harbour, and again these can take rafting up to three boats on each set of buoys.  The harbourmaster is very helpful and will find a space for you somewhere.

There is no fuel pontoon in the harbour – the pilot book mentions fuel in cans but I don’t know how that works.

Ashore, there are toilet and shower facilities and the harbourmaster’s office – both of these are currently temporary facilities in containers.  A new block to house these is currently being built,  with a provisional finish date of April 2025. There are also rubbish and recycling bins across the car park.

Next to the (temporary) facilities is a bar/cafe called the Cantine de Mer.  The village is very close by, as it wraps around two sides of the harbour; there are two or three bar/cafe/restaurants as well as a small supermarket and and very good boulangerie.

Market day is Monday.

There is also a nice beach behind the shops on the East side of the harbour.
